Senior Fly-In Application

The Senior Fly-In Program is open to students who will be seniors in the 2025–2026 academic year. This application-based program is intended for students who identify as first-generation or come from a family with limited financial resources. Our goal is to bring students who might also be considering Hopkins as their first choice and have not yet had the chance to visit campus or want to gain a deeper understanding of the student experience to our home in Baltimore. Selected students will attend our Senior Fly-In on October 12–13 and receive travel assistance for themselves and one guest over the age of 21. To apply, please fill out the application below.

Space is limited for the program, and acceptance or non-acceptance into the program is not an indicator of admissibility to Johns Hopkins University. Your application to Johns Hopkins University will not be negatively impacted in the event that you are unable to attend the program. Students not admitted to the program are able to still attend other on-campus programs on their own.

Applicants must upload their high school transcript (we accept both official and unofficial versions) at the bottom of this form for their application to be considered complete.

About Senior Fly-In

Senior Fly-In will be held October 12–13.

Travel assistance is only available for the Senior Fly-In program on October 12-13 and priority will be given to those who have financial limitations.

Students who are accepted into the Senior Fly-In program will be provided transportation to Baltimore on the Sunday, October 12 in the afternoon/evening prior to the event and back home on Monday, October 13 in the evening at the conclusion of the program. Hotel accommodations will be provided for Sunday night, and because of this, students are required to be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other member of their support system over the age of 21. Due to event capacity, students will be limited to one guest over the age of 21. Travel, overnight, and meal expenses will be covered by Hopkins for both the student and their guest. Travel assistance will be booked and granted by Johns Hopkins University. Students should NOT book travel on their own. Please note we are only able to provide travel assistance by train or plane and are unable to reimburse students for any gas or mileage costs.
